Clear Priorities
Richard is strongly focused on the future of Sioux Falls. He believes in limited government and responsible economic development. He is also pro-education and wants to help limit crime in our city. Richard will be accessible and plans to seek input from the community to help guide his council decisions.
Public Service
Richard was elected to the South Dakota House of Representatives in 2020 and spent two years serving on the local government and taxation committees. He has a history of thoroughly researching issues, voting his conscience and owning his votes and the reasoning behind them.
Business Experience
With years of experience as a commercial real estate broker and evaluator, Richard currently plays a key business development & leadership role at Central Bank in Sioux Falls. Having a background in both business and government will make him a valuable addition to our City Council.
